Saudades, a Portuguese word unparalleled in the English language, describes a feeling of nostalgia and melancholic longing for something or someone once loved but now absent. It's this word and feeling that best describes this collection of photographs from my European travels in 2018—memories of feelings and experiences that seem so distant in both time and space.
